Yes all of the proof is notarized other than the letter he has written to the solicitor and the Gift deposit form for the Bank.

My Solicitors have confirmed they are happy with the proof for the gift deposit and also said AML checks have passed.. but the bank is being a bit fussy and keeps asking for more proof on a cheque which my father deposited (this was his pension savings cheque). There is only a photo of the cheque which he took when he got it.. Do you think its worth saying to the bank that all AML checks by the solicitors were ok? we have given them all the proofs they need but they coming back with the same question again and again!

Solicitors work for the lenders. Reporting what they find. Ultimately lenders decision as to what's acceptable. As at their risk.0 -
yeah its money from the lenders I accept but just seems a bit frustrating they keep asking for the same information which has already been provided..
