Mortgage Advice Companies - Exclusive Rates?

I was wondering whether companies/shops that provide mortgage advice have exclusive offers only available to them?
I'm happy enough just doing the process myself. However if these companies have exclusive deals that can get a better rate, than what is advertised to the public by lenders, then I might consider calling into one...

Brokers have deals which are classed as either exclusive or semi exclusive.
Semi exclusive means a lot of brokers will have them. Exclusive means a smaller number brokers will have them.
As an example, we do a lot of adverse and have deals with a lender that only around 10-15 brokers in the country have. But if you are a straight forward case, that is not much use to you.
But in any event exclusive/semi exclusive deals do not mean they will be any cheaper. We have some great deals with Natwest compared to going direct, but there are cheaper lenders out there.
It all depends on your situation there is no definitive cheapest way of doing things.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. As ACG has said generally its exclusive or semi exclusive. This can come with being part of a mortgage club etc
Brokers will have access to deals that you cannot gain access to by going direct to a lender but thats not to say there are not cheaper rates out there by going direct.
A broker comes in to play by tailoring the mortgage to your requirements which takes in to account more than the interest rateI am a Mortgage Broker
