Pill cutting gadget

I once saw an ad for a little gadget that cuts tablets in half with a tiny blade, it seems much easier than wrestling to break them in half and shattering them. Unfortunately I can't remember where I saw the ad.
Does anyone know where I can get one of these gizmos? If there is a named brand it would be most helpful because then I can ask in shops without having to explain over and over again to the staff.

Thanks both of you, I'll try the local chemists and then Betterware if Boots can't help me :T0

An alternative method is to use a pestle and mortar. Grind the tablet with the pestle and mortar, then measure/split the resulting powder (using electronic kitchen scales) into two equal weight portions. Be sure to wash the scales, pestle and mortar thoroughly afterwards.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j [/COLOR]:cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Or you could make it easy on yourself and just use a hammer and chisel..:D0 -
re: using pestle and mortar
make sure the tablet is not a modified/slow release preperation as this would defeat the object and could be potentially dangerous - check with your pharmacist or read the patient information leaflet carefullySnootchie Bootchies!0 -

Shoot the cat with one flying half, put out a light bulb with the other, cut the kitchen table in half with the chisel and squash your thumbnail as well!
You'd need the whole tablet after all that!!! :rotfl:How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -

My boots did'nt have them:(0 -
Boots was a bust, I'll try some of the local independent pharmacies and then Betterware if all else fails.
The tablets are quite weeny and despite having a groove they won't break in half. I think if I tried to cut them they'd disintegrate into powder, I can't weigh out 5 micrograms of crumbs without buying very *special* scales from the local crack den
