I can not see how this can be good for the consumers.
These are the only two serious cashback sites left.
This will create a monopoly and recude the cashback rates for the customers.
Hope the Competiotion authority rejects the deal0 -

The companies offering cashback on those sites decide what they want to offer...it's not Topcashback and Quidco deciding those things0 -
The companies pay to Cashback website for the customer referral. The cashback site then choses how much to the customer.
Neither of two want to be paying less than the other so not to lose on the customers.
If therer is no competition they would pay the bare minimum.0 -

Hmm well as they currently both pay 100% of the referral to the customer, I hope they don't drop this amount to make more money. As they just make money through the companies paying for email inclusions/advertising etc. Be interesting to see how this pans out though. If they remain as 2 separate impartial companies, then i would hope it would be similar to the MSE & MSM deal in that respect. Or maybe we'll see "TopQuid" become one unified site ...who knows!0 -

No.
They often offer different rates and also bonus cashback offers which I take advantage of on both sites. Although you can put a claim in to get the same but that is a pain.
If they become one this will reduce the offers.0 -
Quidco are a bunch of thieving shysters that will close your account and steal your money whenever they feel like it.0
