Just be warned that if you are going to buy the large size in bulk with the intention of freezing, its best to repackage it into smaller sections first, otherwise once defrosted it will go mouldy before you have had a chance to finish it.Lidl "Valley Spire" - particularly when on weekend offer
Also its very crumbly once defrosted. It tastes fine but don't count on pretty slices.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Thanks for the replies, i've read them with interest however quite like the nutty punchy taste of the Sainsbury's blue label mature cheddar, so i'll stick with it. It tastes a bit like Tickler cheese, which is just over double the price.0
