Mortgage agreed and moving place of work

Hi,
my partner and i have had a new build mortgage agreed since 28th August - we are due to move in and complete on 24th Nov (or thereabouts)
i am currently being chased to move jobs by a few recruiters. The new job if i get it will be on approx 10K more a year.
how would this effect the mortgage, because i had to prove my income with payslips etc for it to be accepted.
should i just hold off until the mortgage is completed and i have the keys?
thanks
Pete

Otherwise your application will have to be re-underwritten and if you are with the wrong lender for such a situation, you may end up having to reapply elsewhere.I am a mortgage broker. I was going to say hold off, but its a heck of a jump you are making between being "chased by recruiters" (whose job it is to chase you) and starting a new job in less than 3 weeks time! I venture to say theres a very slim chance of that happening.
And even in the highly unlikely event you can arrange interviews, meet employers, get a job offer, accept offer and start new job in three weeks time, are you not on a months notice anyway? and lastly I'm sure any reasonable employer would be quite happy to hold back for a few days when you explain the situation should that be necessary.
But I think a phrase involving chickens eggs and counting comes to mind.0
