Money saving recipes sites

Hello all
I'm new and this is my first thread, hope it's on the correct forum!
I was hoping someone would be able to tell me about a frugal recipe and blog site from a few years ago, it was by a Scottish lady who was trying to pay off her mortgage in three years but I don't know what it was called. It was recommended to me for the brilliant money saving advice and frugal recipes. Would be very grateful for any suggestions of what the blog was, or any other such helpful sites. Many thanks, Nic :)

  • Thank you for the reply. I have had a look and it appears the blog no longer is running. Such a shame.

If it's frugal cooking you're after, there are a few threads here in the Old Style forum you might find interesting Love Food Hate Waste is a good one. JackieO who posts on there is a top notch frugal cook. You can also find recipes on the Grocery challenge thread.

JackieO also has her own frugal recipe book which she's happy to share if asked.

No Mooloo isn't the same person- she does or did belong to the MFi3 forum though, not sure if it's still active .

Oh, I thought she was. I was thinking of the lady who came up with a pattern for Wonderbags that she 'sold' for a nominal fee so people could make their own. Apologies for causing any confusion.

I think Moolo did make those bags for slow cooking but she isn't the lady who started MFi3. Will pm you Clutterchique.
