So are you now changing your claim from transactions slowing and rents are fallling to less than 38% of property prices have fallen? (btw it’s not uncommon for estate agents to overprice initially to see if anyone bites so some ask8ng prices always come down)0 -

So are you suggesting people put all their money in cash and let it erode in value in preference to a diversified portfolio (of which a place to live can be a great added benefit).0 -

They are not heading above inflation.0 -

No, I am suggesting that you will soon be able to get more from a high street savings account than a BTL and that mortgage rates are going to rise and the price of three bed semi`s is going to drop.0 -

Most people with families don’t want to live like that.
If you’re a single bloke who isn’t bothered about attracting a mate then the discount aisle might be fine for you, but you cannot do that year after year. Once you’ve got to bins in year 2 and roadkill in year 3 then you have nowhere to go with your strategy.0 -

I agree with you about BTL.
Most of us are talking about buying a home to live in.
In most of the country prices are still rising (real prices not estate agent asking prices).0 -
Eating healthy is optimum and should translate into the best ROI in the end. If you can do that for cheap great! We often dont eat out because we can make much healthier and better food at home.0
