I had 'the talk' at last ...

Hi everyone

It feels a lovely morning but also a sad one today. I finally had 'the talk' with my hubby last night about how much money we owe. I've always been the one bearing the burden but I needed him to realise how much we owe so we can start a plan before it's too late, as we're not getting any younger. He was shocked by the amount but he is on board to get rid of it :j

I plan to set us up a debt snowball so that we can be rid of it once and for all & he will be involved too which is a big weight off my shoulders.

I plan to use this diary to document every payment to keep us on track as it helps to write things down, and who knows, I may get some help from you lovely people along the way.

Thanks for listening

Rosie D :)

  • Well done on being brave. I snowball is a great way to pay down your debts. Good luck on your debt free journey :)

You may find it helpful to post up your SOA as MSEers are full of good ideas to save money and need to see your SOA to give best advice and support.

One small step - you've made a big step on your journey by getting him onboard and supporting you in your challenge.

Well done and good luck on your journey.

Don't forget to set aside a little something in a savings account every month towards any unforseen event - you never know what life may throw at you.
