IAS doing nothing - which PPC's likely to sue?

Hi all,
Current situation:
So now I am to do nothing and wait to see if I get a letter to court.
When reading a link in the newbies thread it took me [URL="https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/68548048#Comment_68548048[/URL] where the advice states The victim of the PCN scam may even decide to ignore the entire PCN as long as it's not from a PPC such as the ones in red in post #1 of the newbies thread where we know they are 'likely' to sue.
But I can't see any PPC's listed in red in post number 1 of the newbies thread? I don't want to ignore the ones I receive if they're the ones likely to sue.
Thanks
Current situation:
- Received, NTK through post.
- Contacted landowner with case - rejected.
- Appealed to PCN using the template email - rejection and given options of; 1) paying the charge (which has an extension for the discount period to pay the £60 instead of £100). 2). Opportunity to appeal to the IAS. 3). Do nothing, and they may seek to recover the monies owed to them via their debt recovery procedures and may proceed with court action against the registered keeper. They won't enter any further correspondence unless through the IAS appeals system.
So now I am to do nothing and wait to see if I get a letter to court.

Perhaps if you were able to turn you question around and ask something like "Is the PPC known as XYZ Ltd likely to sue?", I am sure you'll get a good answer.
Is this related to your friend's UKCPS saga?
If so, then please ask a board guide to merge your threads.0 -
anything you say in an appeal to the IPC , will then be passed to the next desk and be used by gladstone solicitors when they take you to court
basically , the IPC and gladstones are run by the same people
does that clarify things?
of you care to name the parking co regular forum posters can link you to pages showing statistics , and likelihood of court action0 -
The answer is already in the NEWBIES thread where I give a link to the PADI website.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -

Yes it is Keith - I'll ask a board admin to do this.twhitehousescat wrote: »anything you say in an appeal to the IPC , will then be passed to the next desk and be used by gladstone solicitors when they take you to court

Yes it does. I hadn't got round to reading about gladstones yet. Just taking each step at a time.Coupon-mad wrote: »The answer is already in the NEWBIES thread where I give a link to the PADI website.
Thanks CM - found them on the PADI. Risk profile as follows:
First Appeal: Low (green)
Second Appeal: High (red)
Debt Collectors: Low (orange)
Court Claim: Low (green)"The future needs a big kiss"0 -
No monies are owed until a judge says so. The PPC are scammers, the IPC are scammers, watch this video
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed in the house as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week, hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem has become so widespread that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the House of Commons recently

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

I can't find PADI link there
This thread is over a year old.
I believe the PADI site is no longer available or at lease no longer being updated which is why it is no longer linked.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

So, which are those companies, where is the list?
Thank you!0 -
Always best to start your own thread (as you have discovered) and that way you can give details of your particular issue and receive bespoke advice.0

That's fine, maybe should have been more explicit - basically I'm facing the same issue/looking for the same information as the OP, namely:
So, which are those companies, where is the list?
Thank you!
It is strongly suggested that if you have an issue and you would like help with it, then please start a new thread.0
