Soy Isolate protein powder, any breakfast/protein & low carb recipes out there??

Hi all,

Having a good money saving blitz on not used cupboard items! As title of post says, looking to make a breakfast/protein type of shake to use up the HUGE pack of Soy Isolate (not flavoured) powder, would use erythritol to sweeten but am not that obsessed with carbs that the odd banana/handful of frozen berries, etc can't be used. Also not bothered by fat content. Have whole flax seeds I can grind if needed????

Can any kind people point me in the right direction??..Any good links (I looked & struggled). Thanks!:beer:

    Might help to flavour the powder or chuck in some skyr yogurt.

  • Thanks! Never tasted plain soy isolate powder.....could it be subbed for plain protein powder recipes....or does it have peculiar characteristics & need it's own specific recipe(s)???
  • Try mixing it with Wheyhey ice cream in a shake with your flax seeds and peanut butter. Their ice cream is sugar free, high protein and they do an awesome salted caramel flavour. It will completely disguise the taste of the protein powder and give you an even bigger protein hit.
