Hi everybody
I was declared bankrupt in June 2018. I am now a beneficiary of my Dads will which will result in my receiving a share of the proceeds in the sale of his house when it is eventually sold. I have informed the OR of the situation and he has requested a copy of the Will which I have sent. As there will be sufficient funds available I will be able to apply for an annulment of the bankruptcy.
My question is do I instruct the Solicitor handling the sale to remit the whole amount of my share to the OR and then wait for the OR to send me the balance after deducting payment to creditors or could you please advise me what the procedure is.
Also we are awaiting the Grant of Probate to be issued. Once this is received it will also release funds held in bank accounts. Will the OR be able to find out about these accounts and will my share have to be passed directly to the OR?
