With Profits lists 25.7% UK gilts, 27.8 % UK shares, 17.8% UK non gilts, 16.7% overseas shares, 8% Property
That's just a With Profits fund doing the sort of thing they do. No complaints from me.Stewardship fund lists 92.7% in UK equities, 4.9% in money market, 2.4% in Europe
For my taste that's terribly unbalanced. There's no reason on earth why you should copy my tastes but within the category Equities I'd be looking at much less UK, a lot of Far East/Pacific, a bit of Japan (which is often excluded from FE/Pac), reluctantly a little US maybe, and a little Emerging Markets. I might even tolerate a little more Europe if it could all be outside the Eurozone e.g. Switzerland, Norway, Poland, Czechia. (I'm not sure about Sweden for reasons too obvious to elaborate.)
As for non-Equities I think I'd be interested in US TIPS, gold, some commodities perhaps, and a lot more cash than 4.9%.Free the dunston one next time too.0
