Agency worker auto enrolment postponement

Hi,

I'm looking for some information regarding agency worker auto-enrolment postponement.

I know that the auto-enrol can be postponed for 3 months.

What I don't know is what happens or should happen if an agency worker leaves an assignment after 1 day, 1 week or 1 month, and doesn't work for 1 day, 1 week or 1 month (Maybe works with a different agency), then gets a new assignment with the first agency. Is the date the postponement started taken from the date they originally started their first assignment with the first agency or would the postponement restart from the date they started their second assignment?

I hope that makes sense, and thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers
