Common treatments for depression (and anxiety to some degree), aside from medication, are exercise and routine.

I know what the treatments for depression and anxiety are, I've been in the exact same place as the OP (especially in the last year of my degree). And you know what? Medications don't do anything, but calm the biological effects, they don't solve the underlying psychological problem. Maybe for the OP that is to stop trying to juggle work and their studies.

Going on, like your the arbitator of who will be successful post degree based on a student job is just BS.

Again, im not talking about a student job, im talking about the ambition for benefits, post degree.

Just FYI an arbiter would be a decision maker. I'm simply explaining how employers might view this.

    Hi, Tom.

Your University may have a student employability team or something like this, and the lay on recruitment fairs, give help with CV's and bombard students with job vacancies. Have you signed up with online recruitment companies like Target Jobs? Don't assume that you can't find anything and will end up claiming UC, there are a lot of jobs out there, they just need people to do the leg work and apply. It's tough trying to work and study, even without health problems, if you can afford to just concentrate on your studies then just do this. You've got the rest of your life to work and only a short time to focus on finishing your course.
