cooking time?

Hi, I have a beef cassarole in the oven for dinner. I browned the veg and beef brought to the boil with stock and popped it in the oven. Its on 150oc. How long shall I cook it for? Thanks.

On 150C, I would leave it in for around 2.5 - 3 hours; keep checking that the liquid doesn't boil away - you may need to top it up with hot water from the kettle (don't use cold because it'll have to heat up again). Also, make sure it is covered, either with a casserole lid or some foil. The good thing about casseroles is - if you find it's ready too early for dinner time, you can reduce the heat in the oven and it'll stay hot for ages. Hope it turns out well!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:
