Phone after/during BR

Hi, my partner is seriously considering bankruptcy, i have had many questions already answered but still a few more pop up, she has a mobile phone which is £17 per month with o2, would this be cancelled if she went BR? and connected to that , what amount is generally allowed on your statement of account for a mobile phone?
Thanks

There is no reason the contract would be cancelled unless your partner is in arrears with the payments?
£17 is perfectly reasonable to put for the cost of a mobile on your SOA - I think mine was about £35 at the time of my BR and the OR didn't mention it. I've since switched to a sim only package.
  • I was with o2 during my BR. The contract was about £20 a month. I wasn't in arrears and the account remained open with no problems.
I've been around the world and I I I I ..... changed my username :shhh:
  • I had a sim only plan with three whilst in bankruptcy, it just continued as normal.

I'm sure you'll be well aware, but switching providers (especially if you want a expensive phone) will be an issue for a few years (potentially 6 from start of bankruptcy) after the bankruptcy.
