    Yes, but what was your (old rules) salary and what is your new salary? If you were receiving a lot of extras in your old job, then you may find that there's not much of a difference. But then you would have to consider if leaving your deferred record would increase by more if CPI continues to rise by more than annual pay increases, etc.

    Even running both option calculations won't answer that.

    It used to be that 'when in doubt' it was possible to leave records separate and revisit the question when the member finally left/retired - but those days are now gone, due to the costs involved.

    I have come home actually to my “deferred local government pension scheme benefit statement 2019”

    It will be payable from 2043 (say it quick it sounds soon lol)

    Annual pension is listed as 9345.13 with lump sum of 9196.00
