Hob to Oven dish recommendations

Looking to buy a hob to oven dish for a friend for Christmas, she lives on her own but some times cooks for 3. Could some one recommend a size and make. thank you in advance.

Pyroflam, specifically designed for hob and oven use. ( Not induction, so you must check this first.)

Pyroflam is different from standard Pyrex, so make sure you get the right one.

As above it will matter if the hob is induction. It may also be worthwhile finding out what type of cookware the user prefers.
