    Going round in circles now but another thought I've had;

    Pay off Lloyds today and use my Halifax clarity card in Australia (I only use this abroad, the balance is £0) and pay off the clarity card with bonuses.
    As I read on here its best to use the clarity card abroad instead of a debit card

    circles lol.

    This is a splendid idea / thought....it keeps overall debt levels lower...
    I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

    I love my job

    Oh good, I thought I'd be told off for spending on a card again :)

    I guess if I pay off Lloyds, owing just over 10k sounds better than 14.5k

    And 2 direct debits to Virgin and I'll be at 4 figures

    Funny thing is I cant actually remember the last time I paid for anything with my credit card

    I think you're going to need a glass of wine at the end of this decision :rotfl:

    Sounds like a plan. Make sure you don't use your credit card to pay for it though :rotfl:

    Not if you can earn about £200 interest on that money by waiting to pay it off in the last couple of months of the 0% periods.

    If the Lloyds balance results from balance transfers (sounds like it), you may have paid a 3% fee for the transfer, might as well get the full value for it.
