Currently our mortgage is at £169k and we have a buyer for £225K.
We want to buy a house for £265K and put down £30k deposit. We both combined have £23k in credit card debt and 2 car finance deals.
Chances of being accepted on additional borrowing for next home? We will be sticking with Santander who is our current provider.

Lenders will also focus on your profile. How the debt has grown over time. The concern being that you could simply continue to overspend and build further debt in the future. By allowing the consolidation of the debt the borrower learns nothing.0 -
Principality approved us providing we pay off 2 credit cards with money we get from sale of house.
If we pay it off, do they wait til they've received statements showing this before signing off?0
