in Loans
Hello
I bought some jewellery on the 6th. September paid a deposit and took out an intrest free loan which the jewellers’ were offering. I was told in the shop that I had been accepted for the loan. To date I’ve received no communication from the loan people and no direct debit has been set up on my bank account. I’ve emailed the shop last Monday but they haven’t replied. As it stands I have in my possession jewellery that I paid about half price for and no indication that the balance is going to be collected.
Any comments please?

Instead of emailing why not phone and ask.0 -
Hi thanks for your reply. I emailed so that I would have a written record of what they say when they replied.0

Set the money aside, so that when they finally realise what they've done you'll have the money to pay it."Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... [it] doesn't walk in saying, "our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."0

It could be that they will collect at the end of the interest free period.
I second the idea of saving now for that scenario.

Phone them for comment, with reference to the email that you have previously sent. Record the phone call if you are worried about there not being a record of it - just make it clear to them on the recording what you are doing, and get them to state that they are okay with that.
As has been mentioned, I'd also be putting aside the money - they will ask for it eventually anyway and this way you won't get stung if they try do something sneaky.0
