I am off to work today once I have dropped my little girl off with her nanny.

  • Hi, IA,
It's a lovely sunny day where I am, hope it is for all, whereever you are. Off to do weekly shop in a min, put washing on first, then tweak menu plan as DD3 back from Uni this week, then off to work this afternoon.

    Enjoy the day everyone,

    love Suzi xx

GG, that's rough, try to stay focused though, you sound like you are nearing the end of a messy situation. If you can do it yourselves, I would, you probably know more about the whole sitch than a new solicitor, however their knowledge of property law will be invaluable. I guess it's evens, go with what feels right.

I am off to work in a couple of hours, not to work but to have a sort of interview/informal meeting about me taking on extra duties. I must be mad. At the beginning of the year I was asked about it and I wanted to go for it. I had to send a letter of application, wait to be balloted, had to complete a post graduate certificate (which I passed last month -:T Yey!). Now I have this final interview and if alls well - I go on the rota next month. All this and I get no extra pay even though I have to be oncall twice-three times a month. The only payment is 2 extra annual leave days per year ( wowee) and the prestige, oh and it would look good on my cv if I move jobs. I may regret this decision:o

    Morning all!

Congrats IA you must be over the moon!

GG I am in a similar position to you, bought out my ex, hate my flat managment company, flat feels like a house rather than home. I cant wait for the day I can sell it and buy somewhere that feels like a home rather than an investment and somewhere to live!

Lucy congrats on the weight loss!!

Tonight I will mostly be checking my online banking and seeing if I can pay off my ms card. I have an OD limit of 2k so I could well do it, its just nice have a smaller negative bank balance!
