How do i know the date of a valuation?

Might be a silly question but I have had an offer accepted on a house and have applied for a mortgage with a broker, I had a call yesterday from my mortgage company to ask for the sellers details to arrange a valuation. Through looking on here people seem to know when the valuation is scheduled for, does the mortgage company tell them that or would it be my broker? It has taken me a while to get through the credit checks due to mistakes on my credit file so eager to get the offer through.

The Surveyor doing the valuation will contact the Vendor (or the Estate Agent) to book it in.
Ask them to keep you informed. Or ask your Broker to ask the Lender as they are usually kept in the loop.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. You will find out after the valuation / survey has been done.
No offence but very few surveyors would allow you to go with them.0 -
Dimbo61, don't worry I don't want to go with them just looking for when it's been booked for so I have a time frame in my mind.0

Ask the estate agent to let you know0

Some lenders have systems which tell us the inspection date, others we have to obtain from builder/agent.I am a mortgage broker.
