Childcare Costs

I am a bit confused about this and wonder if anybody can help please....

My wife is looking to go back to work next year and our daughter will go to child care (Nursery) for 2 or 3 days per week.

What are the qualifications for childcare costs. Is this based on earnings or how do you qualify.

My wife and I's earnings will be approx £55k for the year.

You could always ask your employer about whether or not they are part of a childcare voucher scheme, there are loads of different schemes.
As a childcare provider i encourage my parents to use them as you can save a lot of money.
Childcare Vouchers are Tax and National Insurance exempt, employees could save between £962 and £1,195 per year.

I can get the vouchers as my husband is in the army, and the mod wont get involved with the scheme, I have spoke to Bussy Bees who give out the vouchers, and they said they cant get the armed forces involved.

But when I take my kids to the nursery there are signs all over the walls vouchers it drives me mad. (Are there any army wifes who get the vouchers? or are you as mad as me.)

You don't work for the army though do you? Can't you do it from your earnings?
