Part transferring DC pots

Not a particularly interesting set of questions but:

1) Is it possible, in practice and/or in theory, to transfer your DC pot when you and your employer are still contributing (and wish to continue contributing) to the original provider?
2) What about partial transfer of pots, including those which you’ve stopped contributing to?
3) What about once you’ve “retired” and entered drawdown?
4) if there are legal restrictions what’s the relevant legislation? If there are practical restrictions, why?

    1. Depends on what your employers scheme allows. I know my last employers new scheme did allow but the previous one didn't.
    2. Generally, yes. Some schemes may have restrictions.
    3. Doesn't make any difference.
    4. None I'm aware of.
