I sent the estate agent a screenshot of my DIP from NatWest.
However, as this is just an indication of my affordability to take out a mortgage, am I still able to shop around for the best mortgage deal elsewhere and proceed with another lender? They wont for example insist I go through NatWest?

They wont know who you apply to until the surveyor calls up to value the property.
