Right three days left until payday, so i thought i would give everyone a update! I've now only got 20 pounds left for spends and haven't got any major things happening in the next few days so will just try and keep the money for a treat over the weekend (i haven't had money in the last week of the month in over a year now!)
I've also put odd amount of money into my credit card every so often (left overs from other purchases) which has mounted to a grant total of..... £14.01 which isn't a lot but still every penny counts!
also strangely i was looking for a balance transfer to get 0% credit card for one of the debt and applied for Tesco via quid-co. i declined the offer after applying as was only a few hundred pounds credit but still got the 40 pounds for signing up via quid-co! i have withdrew the money into my pay pal account and will be putting toward my first debt on the snowball. unsure why tesco accepted the quid-co request but i#m happy :rotfl:
anyway with this all happening i feel that everything is moving in the right direction and moving forward! i look forward to letting you know about next month plansCredit cards - 8300 (Currently 2501.48), Loans - 21000 (Currently 12155.41), Other - 1300 (Currently 0 :T) Weight loss : 7st 2.3lbs0 -
Pay day gone and all debt paid for the month! been screwed on the tax again with the car scheme and still awaiting information back on that issue (basically been paying extra 70 pound tax as they believed I've got two cars in a calendar year (never had two cars at once so makes no sense to me).
with the extra 40 pounds from the quid-co error i have manage to pay 168.68 towards the smallest bill, this is now sitting around 700 pounds now (696.50 before this months interested being added). due to my gambling problems a few months ago i decided to reduce my credit limits on any cards i had and also ones i'm paying off. now my limit is 750 and looking to raise money for the interest this month to reduce this down to 700 by next payday.
current debts:
Barclay card Credit Card: £696.50 (was £1,000.00)
MBNA Credit Card: £2,107.71 (was £2,150.00)
Natwest Loan: £3,503.15 (was £3,872.74
Salisbury's Loan: £8,652.26 estimate (£9,051.69)
now normally this is my hardest month to save due to Christmas parties, presents and drinking money! but i have decided to go Teetotal for the next six months  I've informed all my friends and all very supportive of my request to stay away from the festive drinks! now this doesnt mean i've got loads of money spare just means i can buy all my presents and not need to add more debt for the month. i have 100 pounds worth of gift to buy and should get these completed by next weekend and have around 150 to myself for the rest of the month (which leave me with around 6-7 pounds a day until next payday (early due to the holidays)
I feel on track at the moment with all the money going into the right locations just need to get my tax back in the coming months and throw all that onto the debt :money:

I'm loving your enthusiasm, £6-£7 a day to live on, going tee total, well done! I'll be following with interest.0

Thanks, I’m very lucky to be still living at home and having limited bills so living on 6-7 pound a day is easy when most food is paid for and only really buying extras! Went 10 days without spending a penny last month!
With the drink out the way I’m hoping to hammer this debt down ASAPCredit cards - 8300 (Currently 2501.48), Loans - 21000 (Currently 12155.41), Other - 1300 (Currently 0 :T) Weight loss : 7st 2.3lbs0 -
i used to sell Games online for an extra few pounds a month and today one of the old games which i've had for a few months has just sold so thats £21.19 toward my smallest debt.
i'm not even into December yet and I've over paid 169.02 toward my debts which feels amazing for some reason! every penny added is debt is a penny closer to my goal! going for a run now haha

4th of December and now brought everyone presents and have not other items to buy this year :rotfl:
Manage to keep 100ish pound over for normal day expenses and i have no Christmas do's or nights out planned so i should have about 5 pounds a day until my next payday
manage to put another 5.75 towards my smallest debt which means i've overpaid by 126.68 this month which is 55 pound more than last month
loving this christmas as i dont have to plan to spend money i dont have on clothes and booze! i just told everyone to go away and let me have a relaxing time :rotfl:Credit cards - 8300 (Currently 2501.48), Loans - 21000 (Currently 12155.41), Other - 1300 (Currently 0 :T) Weight loss : 7st 2.3lbs0 -
Mid Month and still going strong! manage to keep my money in my pocket and reject all nights out
I've mange to put another 19.25 towards my debts this month which means I've paid 217.37 towards my smallest debt! only got about 60 pound left for the next 10 days so 6 pound a day for me :j
i think the main change in my life is just focusing on money instead of social life. i still have friends just see them less often and just enjoy nights in more then nights outCredit cards - 8300 (Currently 2501.48), Loans - 21000 (Currently 12155.41), Other - 1300 (Currently 0 :T) Weight loss : 7st 2.3lbs0 -
it's nearly payday! three days away from having more money! well last week as been pretty good with the lack of spending and manage to put another £24.51 toward my debt which means i've manage to snowball £241.88 this month and hopefully the same next month!
next update friday! payday of course!Credit cards - 8300 (Currently 2501.48), Loans - 21000 (Currently 12155.41), Other - 1300 (Currently 0 :T) Weight loss : 7st 2.3lbs0 -
Pay day has arrived and I've thrown all my money left over money at the debt! all £3.55 of it ha ha
just paid my two credit cards for the month (64.21 and 23.25) and also thrown the extra 105.33 towards the lowest debt amount as part of the snowball affect. have to wait until the 26th of the month before i know how much i can spend for the month as the rest of my payment for the loans and DD will come out that day. hopefully have around £10 a day but likely £7.5
anyone recommend any ways of making more cash on the side? looking to use my spare time for that instead of watching awful tv.
Merry Christmas everybody!Credit cards - 8300 (Currently 2501.48), Loans - 21000 (Currently 12155.41), Other - 1300 (Currently 0 :T) Weight loss : 7st 2.3lbs0
