Delay in telling HMRC about Ofsted status...

Our nanny has finally got Ofsted registration so we can pay her using Tax Free Childcare (not her fault it has taken since May 2018- Ofstead have been SO slow). But, it turns out there is a delay in Ofsted telling HMRC about her Ofstead registration, and until they have done that, HMRC won't let her register as a childcare provider, meaning we can't pay her using the Tax Free Childcare system.


I understand that if people have had problems with the Tax Free Childcare system, they can claim compensation- but what about if there is a problem with the communication between Ofstead and HMRC meaning we can't pay via this system? Any ideas who I could ask? It's costing us a fortune (20% of her salary) not being able to use the Tax Free Childcare for paying her.
