Debt from before bankruptcy

I wondered if anyone can advise. I am at the point where bankruptcy is looking the only option for me. I lost my limited company due to insolvency but nothing is being done about this yet in terms of insolvency and could take a while to happen. I will be hit with an overdraws director's loan that I need to pay back of £22,000 which built up over a number of years

If i go bankrupt now, will this also go with the bankruptcy or not as it wasn't known about by the insolvency people (for the business)?

Your overdrawn directors account will be included, even if undisclosed.


If a liquidator is appointed to the company (some just end up being struck off) they won't be able to chase you if you have been declared bankrupt.



Perhaps wait and see?

Thanks Mouse, this is the outcome I am hoping for. All accounts and returns are up to date so will ride it out and see what gives.
