Barclays mortgage timescale?

Broker sent in our application last Friday and I can already see a hard search on my credit report on Friday. Sent us an email today saying that we've passed the lenders initial credit checks. What I would like to know is how long usually does it take to get an offer from Barclays? This is a help to buy mortgage we applied for HTB on Friday also. Broker said we would get a decision for that within 5 working days.

It will depend on when the valuation is done.

The offer will usually go out a few days after the valuation report is returned to the lender. Assuming all your documentation has been received and signed-off.

Any ideas when the valuation would be done? Also how would it be done since the building won't be ready to move into till May 2019?
