Let's hope we see some of these fun and useful reward systems popping up around the UK. The government has already pledged to roll out a Deposit Return Scheme for plastic bottles with some trails already happening.

  • I think that is perfect, it would make a real change in attitude, especially if it was targeted at the young. It would help make throwing away glass and plastics a really silly thing to do because the carrot of a reward is always there.


    It'd cut down on littering too. My only worry is that we'd need to be careful to not incentivise it so much that it becomes crime-worthy.
