    What are they asking for?
  • I remorgaged and had 59,000 which was half mine and other half was OH, so I can account for what he did with is money but not what I did with mine. I also took another loan out in 2005, and they want to know what creditors I was paying off with that and proof. I honestly cant remember. I had my own buisness and was in a right mess, so I was doing loads off things to try and keep everything ok. But now looking back I ve just created a big bloody mess which I cant explain. What do i do now. My personal account shows money that i was putting in from my buisness then putting it back into the buisness account by cheque to bide time. But I cant honestly explain what I have done with it. Iam just so bloody stupid.

There is no way around it - just tell them the truth that it was a traumatic time and you were trying to fix the business and you don't have any paperwork. You were obviously under a great deal of stress at the time and this is you going through bankruptcy to make things better.

If you were running a perfect business with perfect finances and paperwork then they might not be seeing you, they know these things happen.

They have to look at it to see if you have squirrelled away the money, try and explain giving any detail you can.

Hope this works out for you quickly.

I don't think stupid comes into it.

Desperate situations require desperate measures. Stress can make you do things irrational or out of character.

You are taking action now to start again and regain a bit more normality. Your not stupid.
  • Thanks Iam going to try and explaine all this on the phone to them this morning.

  • Hi If Only

We had our interview a few weeks ago and we had to do the same thing for a house and loans we sold and closed in 2003/2004.

Alot of the information I had written down, but some of it I found by logging onto my bank and going through old bank statements, it may be worth having a look through your old statements most banks let you go back online a few years.

I wrote everything down and also put bullet points to keep me on track when I was speaking to the OR.

Hope this helps and good luck.
