I'm a great experimenter myself - and know there's all sorts of fruit out there I've not tried yet (because it's not available yet in this country).
So - it could be a fruit.....
Personally, in cases like that - I'll ask the seller "What is it? and what do I do with it?" keeping my fingers crossed that it's not some young assistant on NMW who "doesn't know/doesn't care".
I usually get told what's what though - and then treat accordingly...0
