Employment tribunal round 2

I guess I put it up here as at the time I was so upset and offended by it all that I jumped in head first.
After sitting back I realise that maybe the only way forward is to drop everything and work on my own health.
Yes I gave every document over to the solicitor which included the emails telling me I wasn’t allowed to contact my employers.
Once I lost I just wanted a reference as I had never had any warnings etc and seeing the post was mortifying.
But I shall withdraw as the date to proceed is very soon and again, reading peoples comments who have no direct link make it more understandable.
Whether blunt or to the point with any comments made, thank you all for your time.
Stop reacting. It's not helping you to react to everything. Do as we are telling you - ask questions and check the terms. Don't withdraw without checking what if any consequences there are. Or why the solicitor wants to pursue this. Then think it through rationally. Get more advice if you need it.
The one thing you were never going to get - unless there was a settlement - was a reference. Tribunals don't enforce references.
Here's your steps for you. Fill in as many more sensible ones as you like:- Calm down
- Stop reacting
- check the terms with the NWNF - what happens if you withdraw or if you get offered a settlement
- Ask the solicitor why they think you have a good case for a tribunal
- Come back here and discuss it again - calmly!
Stop talking to anyone at the former workplace. Don't read social media. Block anyone that you haven't.
Breathe.
Then come back and we can talk you through how you fix the employment side of things and the reference. We can't fix your mental health. That's down too you. But there's a hell of a lot of people here who will help you fix the rest, are good at it, and if you can take the straight talking (which you obviously can) will be able to give you loads of tips.0 -
I really do appreciate the advice Sangie and everyone.
