    I'd also recommend Hotel Chocolat - they do a variety of batons and slabs

  • I wonder why american chocolate has such an odd taste, none of my grandchildren like it and I'm not overkeen yet my DD will bring some back this weekend from her trip to me its tastes really awful,I wonder if it will improve if I use it in cooking

    I think that’s because it’s not chocolate it’s candy.

    Not a fan of US chocolate either. I was given some of those Hershey's Kisses and they tasted rank.

    I have to agree. When I was in the USA years ago, I bought a Hershey bar to try. The taste was disgusting. To me, it's similar to the taste you have in your mouth after you've vomited.

    I'm a fan of Hotel Chocolat too. I'm not usually a fan of signing up for emails but I did for Hotel Chocolat and they send me vouchers for 15% off.

    The 315g Marks & Spencer box of Belgian Collection chocolates (wrapped in bronze paper with a black bow) are also very good.
