Subsidy on EV cut

I just heard on the radio that the subsidy on electric cars will be cut, and removed completely on hybrid vehicles
No.79 save £12k in 2020. Total end May £11610

Glad we went ahead an ordered an EV in August for delivery in September, as I partly suspected this might happen as a result of the review.0 -
Fingers crossed that it will not impact future EV car prices as with any government subsidy (e.g. save to buy ISA) the product price has already factored in the subsidy, so shaving £1k off the cost of new cars shouldn't be a problem.0
