Eligibility

One entry per person.

The winner and their chosen travel companion must travel together (on both outbound/inbound flights). Both must hold a passport valid for 6 months from date of return, and hold the necessary visa and/or passport for travel to Lima, Peru. Prize winners must obtain travel insurance for the duration of their trip, pre-departure.

The voucher will be valid a year from date of winner chosen, subject to availability.

Flights are subject to availability.

Those entering after the competition closing date will not be counted.

Employees of the promoter, all other prize partners, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion, and their families, are excluded from entering this competition.



The Prize includes

The prize includes a voucher for two people valid on Tucan Travel’s Tailor-made Peru Highlights tour worth £1,700 per person; The tour includes the permit for the two day trek to Machu Picchu; Winners will be staying in 3* accommodation with included activities listed in the itinerary. Any upgrades or extra services added to the itinerary is an additional cost.

The prize also includes a flight budget of £750 per person (and no more) towards international flights to Lima, Peru for the travelling competition winner (and their chosen companion) for the sole purpose of going on the relevant competition itinerary detailed above. Any flight costs over this figure must be covered by the competition winner; if the flight cost comes in under £750pp, any remaining flight budget will not be distributed in any way to the competition winner, and will remain with Tucan Travel.



The prize does not include

The prize does not include any additional travel costs not specified in the prize, including: travel to/from the specified UK airport; Food and beverages not specifically mentioned in the itinerary; Spending money; Any other excursions, travel, accommodation, attractions or tips not outlined in the itinerary; Any other personal or medical costs; Travel insurance and visas; additional luggage allowance.

All trips will originate from Lima and the winner and travel companion is responsible for making their way to the departure airport and for arranging any necessary visas, insurances and vaccinations.

The prize cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.

The promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of similar value should the specified prize become unavailable for any reason.

Optional activities and travel insurance are not included in the prize. It is strongly advised that you take out travel insurance for the relevant period.



The winner

The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to contact the winners using the contact details supplied upon entry. If a winner does not respond within 14 business days of the first notification, the winner forfeits their right to claim the prize. The Promoter shall not be responsible should a winner provide incorrect contact details.

If a category winner is unable to take up their prize for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to award it to an alternative winner, in which case the first winner chosen will not be eligible for any share of the prize whatsoever.

The Promoter, Prize Providers and any associated third party accept no liability for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with the promotion or the winners’ enjoyment of the prize, other than such liability that cannot be excluded by law including death or personal injury caused by negligence, where liability shall be limited to the minimum permissible by law..

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this prize and without notice in the unlikely event of a major catastrophe, war, unrest, earthquake or any similar event, or any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation, or if travel would be contrary to UK Foreign Office advice, or if circumstances arise outside of its control that prevent the implementation of the prize.

The Promoter (Wanderlust Travel Media) is based in the UK and the competition prize will be delivered under the terms of the UK’s laws and regulations. By entering this competition and ticking to accept the competition terms and conditions, entrants from outside the UK agree that The Promoter and Prize Providers will not accept any liability or responsibility for any extra costs or issues incurred by the entrant not being a resident of the UK. This includes, but is not limited to: any non-UK taxes that may apply in the entrant’s country of residence (such as taxes on competition prizes); any additional travel costs incurred in order to undertake the prize as not already specified as being part of the prize; any differences in exchange rates; any visa implications for travelling via the UK.

The winner will be selected randomly.

Attempts will be made to notify the winner by the email provided at the time of entry.

If the promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner, then the prize is forfeited and further draw(s) will be conducted.

The winner may be required to take part in reasonable publicity as specified by the promoter.

The prize is non-transferable.

The promoter cannot be held liable for IT system failures or delays or loss of entries.

This promotion is operated under the rules and regulations of the UK sales.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel this competition, or to change any condition of this competition, without notice.
