Hi All
I'm a first time buyer. Went to Santander 2 months ago and they said I could borrow up to 175k based on my income ( even though first direct or nationwide said could get me more at that time )
I thought that's enough for a 2 bed flat.
ready to put 10% deposit. Got the first one , put in an offer , got accepted but valuation from Santander came negative saying its a leasehold flat comes with freehold.
Next one I made sure was a leasehold without the freehold. Again Santander valuation came negative saying poor property access and poor communal hall and open deck.:(:(
Estate agents are saying come to us and our in house broker will sort you out.
What shall I do ??
please advise you wonderful lot out there.
