I have recently gone to the salon to get a manicure and pedicure and eventually contract a fungal nail infection. I applied tea tree oil but didn't see any improvement. Is there anyone here pick up nail fungus at the salon? Please, help!

No I do not visit salons.
I did get athletes foot which is also a fungal infection. Creams did not get rid of it.
Spraying iodine between my toes got rid of it very quickly inside a week.
I used lugols iodine because that is all that I had at the time but I did later get some potassium iodide which is clear and does not stain like lugols which is brown coloured. It tends to stain everything it comes into contact with.
Athletes foot never returned so I never got to try Potassium iodide.
One problem you might have is if the fungal infection is in the nail bed because getting iodine into the nail bed might be difficult.
A stronger solution and soaking your feet migth work.
It sounds like the salon are using infected ie none sterile tools. A basic lack of hygiene.0
