Hi all
I am looking to buy a house for me only and I’ve found a one I like. I’m arranging a viewing for it. It is up for offers around75k. I know the area well and such like.
I have completed a aip and can be given enough money to cover the cost of house.
I was wondering what the process is. I am trying to arrange appointment with bank to talk more about what I could borrow. If I view the house and I like it what would be next step. Could I show my aip and make an offer. When do surveys happen.
If they accept my offer would they have to take it off the market. This would mean I can sort out legal side of things while not worrying someone else has it .
Thank you

The mortgages section on the MSE is a good start

Then you can offer, you don't always need an AIP as the product you get in the end maybe different as some are time limited.
Surveys are up to you and your budget but recommended. The lender will do their own valuation survey but advisable to do a survey yourself to ensure no issues."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
