Anyone else having trouble with 2 step verification ?
They send me an access code which I ask to be valid for 7 days (because I need to move from one place to another), but when I sign in again they send me a new access code rather than using the old one.

No, works fine for me, why can't you just receive the code on your mobile each time?0

Yep, the 7 day thing never works for me. Likewise don't use the mobile number as we don't get a mobile signal in our office. What on Earth is wrong with them just using a fixed password and code like most banks do?0 -

Do you mean that the 7 day hold on the code works ?
I don't know as I only ever use the code once.
Don't they let you choose which number to have the code sent to, so you could have it sent to your home phone when you're at home, and your mobile when you're away?0 -

That is, more or less, what I am trying to achieve, but the procedures are so obscure that it is difficult to ascertain how one actually gets to the final result.
What is clear is that there are parts of the system which simply do not function correctly.0 -
You can choose to use the mobile app, then you don't have to download their app, I've tried the Google Authenticator, it worked for me.0

I may have misunderstood when doing this BUT I think the 7 days hold only applies after the first use.0

7-day function used to work 100% here. Now only about one time in five!0
