Debt sold on

If a debt that was previously part of an IVA has subsequently been “sold on” does that now overide any terms of the iva once IVA is completed with regards to original holder of debt .

    No, it wont override the original terms of the IVA
    it is common practice to have debt sold whilst in an IVA
    Three high street banks did this with mine, no issues to me whatsoever. after the 6 years, all defaults removed
  • Nope, just let your IVA company know of the contact so they can contact whoever owns the debt now, and/or write to them with the details of your IVA.
