Fidelity Sipp online user. Question for you please

Hi

Regarding Fidelity's Sipp only, not their ISA, or Investment Account. I'm thinking of joining fidelity sipp, but what is the minimum cash contribution by using your debit card? I know you can setup a direct debit, but i want to be able to use my debit card on an ad hoc basis.

Can you just put £100 in using a debit card for example?

Also,

If you have an unit trust fund in your sipp already and want to top it up, what's the minimum amount you can top it up from your cash held in your account?

Thanks for your help

Ask the SIPP provider for prompt (and accurate!) answers: https://www.fidelity.co.uk/contact
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

With that sort of figure, are you sure a SIPP is the right choice for you?

  • When I topped up my pension last March, the minimum payment was £800 (tax rebate tops it up to £1000). I am not sure if it has changed since.

As others say, why not call them and get the answer from the horse's mouth?

    Try it and see.
Going through the personal contribution it says the min single contribution is £800.
The min monthly is £40 so you could maybe set up a monthly, pay one then cancel it.

Worth talking to them to see if there's a way round it.

If you google Fidelity, SIPP, minimum amounts, it will tell you £800 net (£1k gross)
