I haven't entered this one myself, but a friend who entered has received a phone call from Karma (or on their behalf) informing her she has won a "runners up" prize of a 4 night stay (instead of the main prize 7 night stay), but it requires a £75 deposit etc. so long story short it sounds like it's the usual timeshare pitch type thing and not a prize at all. I know a lot of us are aware of these types of "prizes" so know to avoid, but just thought I'd reiterate here in case any unaware new compers get a phone call.

My friend thinks she would have selected "no" to all the questions about contact, so either they are ignoring her preferences or a slipped finger/cursor may be the culprit. Although of course even if you have agreed to receive "exclusive deals" they shouldn't be saying "runners up prize" at all.

    Thanks :)
