I have just used loads in Tesco today. Stuck to their 1 of each rule and saved 20 pound on my shop. I use about 5 different tescos so they do not recognise me & find they change rules to suit SA rather than shop. Try again next time, use a different SA.
  • Used loads today on self scan till, SA told me to keep putting them through and she would authorise. Told me afterwards that she hated being on SS so did not care what went on. Managed to off load lots of small denominations, as I think I will stick with £1 plus from now on.
I find if you start talking and being friendly to SA they are more inclined to take them.

Thank you both, will try again at another tesco and also at Asda later in the week.
  • Jules, it will definitely be a crabby sa you got and not the store policy.

Try and find a young male/female and get them chatting, you'll be surprised how often this makes them more inclined to take your coupons ;)

I've NEVER been able to use coupons if I haven't bought the item at any of the three large Tesco's near me, even on the self scan tills.
Asda was the same until recently but they seem to have let up a bit over the last few weeks and some coupons go through without being questioned on self scan

Went into Tesco yesterday and SA let me pay for £6-75 worth of shopping with £6 vouchers and 75p. She said "keep them coming"! LMAO! Thought I had picked a dud SA at first but was in a hurry so no tme to scout a likely looking one out. I'm sure it helps I have a VERY cute baby in tow  :p

I have used these vouchers in two big Tesco stores, one took all my vouchers, even though there was more than one of some, but one this weekend would only take one of each one, but no problems otherwise. I do know that Asda do not take printed ones, only ones from mags etc and then most stores only 10% of the spend. By the way, has anybody got any good sites other than the usual for printable vouchers. Couponet have not changed their vouchers for about a month now.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Thanks all.Yes my Asda only take 10% of shopping&Tesco take more but have never tried 2 identical coupons. Its been a case of trial&error for me!I'd be interested to hear of an alternative to couponet as i agree they dont change the coupons on there very often!
