how do you save for pension

I just want to open a discussion on how people plan for their retirement. In other words how much money they are planning for their retirement and what financial vehicles would you choose when consider such an option?

I personal chose shared fund which is managed by a UK fund manager. So far so good. a pension plan is like a marathon racing. People will save some energy for the last minute competition, so it's a long term plan which requires preserverances. In order to have a better life in my old ages, I have to make some movement and start to save. You know inflation do eat up some money... anyway what is your though about this? you have any good pension plan?
