Quidco - reassurance needed

I am really starting to get into Quidco but I am still so cautious with the offers where you have to spend money.
For example Gala Bingo, £30 cashback if I deposit £10, so obviously £20 to be made.
At the back of mind I am paranoid as a DFW newbie that I will just lose the tenner and never get the £30.
Can some of you regulars assure me that everything works out lol. I am loving the idea of making £20 for not alot but the scrouge in me is wary of spending the £10.
God I sound mad lol

You always have to bear in mind with Quidco that the cashback is not guaranteed. It is a realistic possibility that you will lose the tenner and not get the £30, but at the end of the day, them's the risks.0

No one can 'assure' you definately, since that's kinda beyond our control! I can however tell you that if you do everything right (clear your cookies etc) then if for some reason it doesn't track, you have a very good case to appeal to Quidco! And for peace of mind, do not spend more than the tenner, even if you win, take the money and run!
But if it makes you feel better mine and the boyfriend's tracked within about 3 hours.

If you are unsure i would check the help section in regards making sure things track
If im honest i normally use firefox for all other browsing and IE just for quidco, but I disable all the "so called" security features in internet explorer, (ie i enable all cookies, add the quidco to trusted sites etc) and nothing hasnt tracked so far
Ive just been paid 45 quid so im a happy camper at the moment

Doodledo - Quidco is pretty good usually as far as payments tracking correctly goes BUT there IS a chance they wont track and you wont get your money, so do bear that in mind when you do any of the offers.
There are quite a few no-spend ones though. Hillary's Blinds will come round and give you a free quote for blinds and £20 for the priviledge.....they're not 'hard sell' when they do come round either. In fact they were so nice, I nearly bought the blinds! :rotfl:
There's also free trials with Blockbuster & LoveFilm, which cost nothing but give cashback. Probably loads of others too."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Thanks everyone for your fast replies much appreciated.
Obviously I realise there is always that risk its just nice to hear from some people who its worked for if that makes sense.

I've done all sorts including gala etc and only had a couple issues with something not tracking.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Gala worked fine for me too - in fact I haven't had a problem with anything tracking on Quidco apart from a couple of the little daily click amounts."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

I would urge caution with Quidco and count the money as a blessing, only spend on things that you would buy anyway.
Hubby has his own Quidco and we had £500 to invest in an ISA so went with Legal and General on there supposed to get £85 back - nothing even after a query, also had bad luck with pc world, a balloon gift company and another can't remember.
So to me I would not let it encourage me to spend but if you were going to anyway then no harm, also I will not use them if I can get cheaper quotes elsewhere because that is just silly!0 -
I was the same, and started out by buying only things that I'd have paid for anyway, and once I saw that they tracked ok, I went mad - joined all the bingo sites and as you can see from my signature, have made well over £1000 now! Had a couple of issues, but on the whole I'd say about 9/10 come through ok, and Quidco's support is good.
Good luck!0
