Hello, I'm discharged from bankruptcy but still have a question if anyone can help. In April 2017 I was self employed, then in July 2017 I stopped self employment and went employed. The. In August 2017 I declared bankruptcy. Now obviously discharged and I've been told that I don't have to put a tax return in for the april- July as it will be included in my bankruptcy and my UTR will now become obsolete. Is this true and I don't need to do anything ? Don't want a £100 bill for not submitting a tax return. Thanks for any help

I think you are best getting it from the 'horses mouth' as it were and contact the Tax Office and ask for confirmation that that is the case - preferably in writing.0
