Sky + Intrum credit services V Me!!!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I was wrong to tell Sky i wasnt paying the bill, however I have an on going problem with them.

And they have now passed the account onto a debt collecting agency.....

They story goes...

I had Sky talk and braodband, however the modem that they sent was faulty, they started charging me from the day it was activated. IT took nearly 3 weeks to replace the faulty modem.

Then I was having problems, I had run up a bill for over £50 talking to sky broadband faults, and £30 to a dial up company.

I have continued to pay my Sky+ money over the phone, as a direct debit will take all the outstanding amont.

Sky have already refunded me £40 conection fee and all my broadband chargers and did say that they would look at the phone chargers.

At one point sky said they would take £100 off the bill, however this turned out to be a point of contact offer (something that I was not made aware of at the time.)

I have sent Sky 4 letter to date, they have replied to 2. The later informing me that they have sent the debit to Intrum Credit Services.

I spoke tho them (they phoned me) when I asked for the credit argeement they said that they didnt have it and that they were a debt collecting agency, and that they dont need to proved it.

I infromed them that the account is in dispute and asked them to return the account to Sky. Again they cant do that unless Sky ask for it back. They have put my account on hold for 5 days (to stop people phoning) however because I cant talk to Sky customer relations direct, it will take longer than that to sort out.

I have asked Sky to restore my Sky viewing, whilst we sort this matter, however they have just brushed all my complaints aside and have not answered any of the questions I have put to them......

Any help out there, please....
